Once a year Blyth Woods invites the Friends of Blyth Woods to an occasion to show our thanks for their support. This year was the first time we have been able to hold this in St. Peter’s Pightle, our newest acquisition. We were delighted to see, not just our old friends, but several who were not just new to Blyth Woods but new to Wenhaston. Alan Miller guided a party around the site, explaining what had been done so far to develop a wild life friendly area and in the process two new interesting fungi were found as in the photos below.
